The mission of The Society shall be to provide an international forum for reviewing the status of electrostatic precipitation technology, applications and research and for evaluating developing technologies and concepts.
The Society shall pursue this mission through the following objectives:
- Encourage and facilitate the interchange of information on an international basis among knowledgeable scientists and engineers.
- Participate in activities designed to address regional and global air pollution issues related to electrostatic precipitation control technology.
- Convene International Conferences from time to time as appropriate to review the status of electrostatic precipitation technology research.
- Liaison with other international and national scientific and technical organizations concerned with areas of mutual interest.
